I understand and
will abide by the following conditions of this sale:
1. This is a puppy replacement guarantee only.
Buyer's veterinarian must check out this puppy within 48 hours and
send copy of vet exam to seller. If a medical problem exists a
replacement will be given upon returning the puppy within 72 hours.
Breeder has one year to provide replacement puppy. If the puppy is out
of Michigan, seven days will be allowed and the cost of shipping back
will be paid by buyer. If a problem does exist and buyer decides not
to return the puppy, buyer will be responsible for all vet bills
incurred. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills, medications, or
travel expenses once puppy is in buyers care.
2. All monies are non-refundable. However, if
after puppy is placed in buyers care, and its decided that buyer
cannot provide the necessary care, buyer will return puppy in the same
good health as delivered to him, and seller may provide refund. This
will be decided on an individual basis. Puppy will be checked by
sellers vet to investigate puppy's current condition. If puppy appears
to be in good health, a refund minus 200.00 for extra expenses
involving paperwork and quarantine may be given. All previous
paperwork, AKC papers, and health records must be returned with puppy.
Buyer will be responsible for shipping expenses. Refund will be given
after the puppy has been placed with new family. Seller does not want
any pups to go to an animal shelter, research lab, or rescue facility.
If seller decides that buyer is not suited
for a shih-tzu puppy, seller has the right to cancel the sale before
the delivery of puppy. If refund is given a cancellation fee of 100.00
will be deducted from buyers deposit for whatever reason puppy is
cancelled.
3. This puppy will be guaranteed for any/all
life-threatening, hereditary conditions for a period of 2 (two) years.
This does not include conditions such as wormy puppies, umbilical
hernias, and tight nostrils. Coccidiosis can come out in a stressed
puppy and treatment for this condition is also not covered by this
guarantee. If a major heredity condition does occur a
replacement will be given . Breeder has one year to replace puppy. If
the pup is kept, all vet bills and expenses will be the responsibility
of the Buyer.
4. If a sudden death occurs, an autopsy
must be done by your vet and verified by my vet to determine the cause
of death. If due to a health problem originating from the prenatal
stage, a replacement pup of same sex and equal value will be given.
Shipping expenses will be shared.
5. Puppy that is sold as a pet with limited
AKC registration is sold with the agreement that the puppy will be
spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.
6. Deposit is half of the purchase price
and will hold your pup until 7 weeks of age. Unless other arrangements
are made, full payment including all other expenses must be received
by the time the pup is 7 weeks of age or the deposit will be
forfeited, contract is void and the pup will be resold. Buyer is
responsible for all shipping expenses.
7. Adult sizes and colors are an estimate
only, based on seller's experience and recognition. No
guarantees are made.
8. IF THERE WERE TO BE A LEGAL ISSUE DUE
TO BREEDER AND BUYER NOT AGREEING, ABSOLUTELY ALL LEGAL ISSUES WILL BE
DEALT WITH IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, SAINT CLAIR COUNTY, AND IS
SUBJECT TO ALL MICHIGAN LAWS. OUT OF STATE LAWS ARE NOT VALID
PER THIS GUARANTEE. ALL ATTORNEYS WILL BE BILLED TO BUYER.
9. This contract is non-transferable and is
void if puppy changes ownership from buyer stated above. If
buyer decides not to keep the puppy, buyer agrees to offer puppy back
to seller before placing the puppy in a new home.
